Reiki
Reiki
(Virtual & In-Person)
What is it?

Reiki is a type of energy healing originating in Japan. Practitioners use a technique called palm healing, or hands-on healing, to transfer a “universal energy” through their palms to the recipient’s body. This is believed to improve the flow and balance of energy in the body, leading to emotional and physical healing. The term “Reiki” was created by Mikao Usui, who combined the Japanese words “rei” (meaning “universal”) and “ki” (meaning “vital life force energy”).

How is it going to benefit me?

Reiki has been shown to provide a range of potential benefits, such as promoting relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, restoring energetic balance, stimulating the immune system, and relieving pain. It may also provide support for individuals undergoing traditional medical treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, or kidney dialysis. Furthermore, it could aid in the healing of tissues and bones following injury or surgery.
